Healthy Eating and Exercise

You work out, eat a healthy breakfast, and begin your day. Then a friend invites you to lunch. Or someone at work brought in a birthday cake. Maybe you’re at home and a child is sick or the washing machine breaks. The excuses start to creep in and all your good intentions begin to fade away. Before you know it you’re tired, frustrated, and feeling like change is just too hard.

Maybe, like most of us at some point, you just don’t know what’s really healthy. There are so many diet plans and differing opinions that you don’t know where to begin. We’ve been there too. We aren’t going to pitch you the latest diet trend or tell you to work out for hours at the gym. Let’s face it, most of us just don’t have the time. We want something different.

We want lasting changes. And we want it to result in the best version of YOU you can be!

Michael Pollan (Author) says it best: “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.” Simple, right? But wait, what IS “real” food? We’re here to help you figure that out. And, best of all, how “mostly plants” can be crazy delicious! So delicious, in fact, that with the right recipes, your family will be on board sooner than you think. Our philosophy on exercise is simple. MOVE. EVERY. DAY. Whatever works for you:  walking, biking, yoga, rebounding, gardening (bonus: you get to eat your efforts!). Your body was designed to move, and most of us just don’t do it enough. We’ll provide you with resources and share our experiences so you can make the fitness choice that’s fun and right for you.
